Your appointment may be 2 hours long. A provider will do an evaluation, HIV/STI testing and a metabolic panel. Although there is no fee for PrEP services, the cost of medication will process through your insurance; uninsured individuals do not have to prepare anything. We are unable to prescribe medication for individuals who have Kaiser Permanente or Veterans Health Administration plans. If you are unable to get PrEP through them or have additional questions, call us at 415-437-3450.
