About Emily LaCount

Emily holds bachelor's degrees in psychology and human development & family studies from the University of Wisconsin. She also completed both a bachelor's and master's degree in nursing from the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University. With a special interest in IBD, she served as a volunteer camp counselor for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation's Camp Oasis in Wisconsin for three years. In 2020, was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
