At Parkside Pediatrics we are offering the Pfizer vaccine which is approved for ages 5 years and up. This vaccine is a two dose series. Regardless of insurance coverage, you as a patient will not receive any out-of-pocket responsibility for this vaccine or its administration. The most common side effects are headache, chills, muscle aches, fever, and general malaise. Some people experience more substantial side effects after the second dose. Some report no side effects at all.
