About Ammara Khalid
A native of Pakistan, Dr. Khalid received her medical degree from Hamdard University in Karachi. She completed both a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa. In addition to general gastroenterology, Dr. Khalid has a special interest in hepatology, colon cancer screening, and treating celiac disease and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
