I became a physician because I wanted to help people. I chose to specialize in family medicine because I enjoy getting involved with and caring for an entire family. I believe that treating the entire family helps hold each person more accountable for their healthcare, which allows me to focus on preventive care. I stayed in Fort Worth after medical school, completing my residency in family medicine at Plaza Medical Center.
