About Emily Vigour
Dr. Vigour grew up in Winona, MS with two sisters, a writer mother who challenged her to find misspelled words on road signs, and a forester father who taught her to recognize every tree by its bark and leaves. She graduated from the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science in Columbus, MS and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Biology from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA, the oldest continuing women's college in the country.
