Joe Llenos, MD, completed his medical degree at the West Visayas State University College of Medicine in the Philippines (his home country). He then completed his residency program at the Institute for Family Health/Mid-Hudson Family Practice, where he received an award for clinical excellence in medicine. Dr. Llenos currently serves on the Advisory Committee for the Diabetes Resource Center West Valley Medical Center, an ADA Recognized Diabetes Education Program.
