Dr. Burton earned BS and MS degrees in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech before attending the University of Florida for medical school, graduating with honors and AOA. He completed his internal medicine residency at UF Shands in 1996 and has practiced in Gainesville since. He is board certified and active in medical societies. He enjoys biking, running, music, and travel.
