Dr. John Pahira comes to the Urology Group with over 41 years of expertise in the management of kidney stone disease. He completed his residency in 1979 and joined the teaching faculty at Georgetown University Medical Center where he was promoted to Professor in 1992. He hopes to offer patients at risk of recurrent kidney stones a comprehensive evaluation to determine possible underlying risk factors. He places a strong emphasis on dietary counseling and lifestyle modifications.
