Sleep is as essential to our lives as eating, drinking and breathing. When we lack the proper amount of sleep or when our sleep quality is poor, our bodies do not have the time to perform vital reparative and restorative functions. This lack of high-quality sleep over time has a negative impact not only on basic cognitive functions, but also on our physical health. As a provider, I believe in a patient centered approach.
