Dr. Garza was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico. He also lived in Little Rock, Arkansas for 6 years where he worked in academia before moving to El Paso in 2006. His speical interests in medicine include the prevention and treatment of arteriosclerosis, the relation between stress, diet, exercise, and heart disease, and interventional cardiology including the management of varicose veins. Trying to understand his patients' life perspective is of great importance to Dr. Garza.
