About Mahmoud Barrie
During his medical training, he served as Chief Resident at the Medical College of Georgia. Prior to joining Atlanta Gastro, he was an assistant professor with Emory in the Department of Gastroenterology at the Atlanta Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC). He is currently vice chairman of medicine and chief of GI at Emory Hillandale hospital and will be transitioning to Chairman of Medicine at Emory Hillandale hospital starting July 2020.
