About Maria Owsik
Dr. Owsik grew up in Venezuela, where she graduated Cum Laude as a surgeon from medical school at La Universidad del Zulia in Maracaibo, Venezuela. She moved to the United States in 2013, to continue her medical journey. During her time in New York, Dr. Owsik developed a passion for working with kids, which led her to a pediatric residency at Lincoln Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, cooking, and going to the beach. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
