About Marisa Shiode
During her training, Dr. Shiode focused on general and high-risk obstetrics care, general gynecologic care and received focused training in minimally invasive surgery using both straight stick laparoscopy and robotic surgery. She served as chief resident in her fourth year and completed two focused research projects on the implementation of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols in gynecology and breast cancer risk assessment and prevention.
