About Matthew Johnson
Matthew Johnson, MD, is a board-certified general and acute care surgeon and Trauma Medical Director at HCA Florida Fort Walton Destin Hospital. A Houston native, he earned his degree from the University of Texas at Austin and completed residency and fellowship training in Las Vegas. He specializes in trauma, acute care, robotic surgery, and surgical endoscopy, including ERCP. A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, he enjoys sport fishing and time with his wife and daughter.
