About Melissa Zegarra Bustamante
Dr. Zegarra was born in Lima, Peru, where she graduated from medical school with honors at the Universidad Cientifica del Sur. Upon moving to the United States, she completed her pediatric residency at AdventHealth for Children in Orlando, Florida. She has previous experience in immunology research and providing medical services to indigenous communities in the Peruvian mountains. Dr. Zegarra also has special interests in treating allergies, asthma, and gastrointestinal problems.
