Dr. Ruth Montalvo joined Digestive Care Physicians in 2019. She previously worked as a gastroenterologist in Albany, Ga. with over 18 years of experience. As an advocate of screenings, she knows lives can be saved with early treatment and preventative measures. While completing her GI residency and fellowship, she was awarded Diplomate in Gastroenterology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Montalvo specializes in ERCP and liver transplantation.
