Originally from northern Pennsylvania, Dr. Wagner moved to Raleigh in the summer of 2003 with his wife Joanne, a Raleigh native and local pediatrician, and his twin daughters, Sarah and Emily. He received a degree in neurobiology from Cornell University and graduated with honors from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine.
