Dr. Finkelstein believes it is critical for a gynecologic surgeon to respect the importance of the unique patient relationship and provide patients with patience, individualized attention, and the information they need to make an informed decision. Patients must feel they are getting the physician's best effort to provide quality care, having heard and appreciated the patient's quality of life goals, and to manage each patient with respect whether or not that care plan includes surgery.
