About Theresa Turla
Dr. M. Theresa Turla is a board certified Ophthalmologist. She received her degree from New York Medical College, where she received the David S. Garberg Award for outstanding medical student. She completed her residency at Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans, La. Following residency, she stayed in the greater New Orleans area working in private practice for the past 20 years. Dr. Turla is passionate about providing access to eye care for all populations through her work at AVH and beyond.
